High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE)

High density ( HDPE ) – Granule – Material Information. General Description : A semi-crystalline (typically 70-80%) whitish, semi-opaque commodity thermoplastic with properties similar to LDPE but significantly stronger and stiffer and with even better chemical resistance.

It is frequently used as a plastic for milk cartons and other liquids, laundry detergent, garbage bins, piping for domestic water supply and agricultural process, fuel tanks for vehicles and etc. In the most cases usage of Linear Low-Density Polyethylene is similar with HDPE, and it seems that using two compounds in the condition of the surplus or deficit is possible.
